Frequently asked questions

Answers about transfers, ordering, identification, and compliance for STX Bullseye customers in Weslaco and the Rio Grande Valley.

Transfers

How do firearm transfers work?
Contact STX Bullseye before shipping, confirm receiving details, then complete required paperwork, identity verification, and applicable background check requirements in person.
Can I order online and ship to STX Bullseye?
Yes, contact STX Bullseye before placing or shipping an order so transfer details and receiving requirements can be confirmed.
What are your transfer fees?
Standard inbound firearm transfers are $35 per firearm. Contact STX Bullseye before shipping. NFA transfer availability and pricing must be confirmed directly in advance.
How long do transfers take?
Inbound third-party transfers are held until the next business day after arrival while required paperwork and included accessories are verified. We notify you when the transfer is ready. This store-imposed hold does not apply to firearms purchased from STX Bullseye online or ordered in the store. Other legal or background-check timing may still apply.

Ordering

Can I buy firearms on this website?
Yes. Firearm items must be shipped to a selected FFL dealer or picked up at STX Bullseye. Required transfer paperwork and any applicable background check are completed before possession.
How do special orders work?
Submit a request with the item details you are researching and choose how you want to be contacted (call, email, or text). STX Bullseye reviews availability and follows up within 1–2 business days. No payment is collected through the website form.
Is there a sourcing fee for special orders?
There is no separate sourcing fee when an item is available through the regular STX Bullseye distributor network. If you authorize STX to locate a hard-to-find item through an outside source, a 10% sourcing fee may apply. The sourcing fee and total quoted price will be disclosed before you approve the order.
Can I request pricing before visiting?
Yes. Use the catalog to browse public pricing where available, then contact STX Bullseye to confirm current availability and next steps.

Identification

What identification do I need?
Bring valid government-issued identification. Additional documentation or requirements may apply depending on the item, customer eligibility, and applicable law.
Can I submit Form 4473 information online?
No. Do not submit sensitive personal information, Form 4473 information, or background check information through website forms.

Compliance

Are transfers completed online?
No. You may browse, cart, and pay online, but regulated firearm transfers are completed through the receiving FFL (or at STX Bullseye for local pickup) before possession. Do not submit Form 4473 through ordinary website forms.
Does STX Bullseye ship firearms to customers?
Firearms that require an FFL transfer are not shipped directly to the purchaser. They ship to a selected receiving FFL or are available for lawful local pickup, then transfer paperwork is completed before possession.

Compliance note: All firearm-related services remain subject to applicable federal, state, and local law, required paperwork, identity verification, background check requirements, and customer eligibility.
